Grand Admiral Thrawn
Costume made for Star Wars Celebration 2017, based on the revamped costume as seen in the Star Wars Rebels cartoon series and the cover of the new book Thrawn.
The pattern was entirely self-drafted, and costume constructed out of cotton twill suiting, stiffened with woven cotton interfacing in the tunic for weight. The collar chips and epaulets were modeled and 3D printed.
Makeup application was Endura, and accents with NYX professional makeup.
Original design for Elwë of Doriath from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Silmarillion.

Sith cosplay based on the style of the MMO Star Wars: The Old Republic
All garments were designed, drafted, and sewn by hand with added machine embroidered elements. The Sith code written in aurabesh alphabet, imperial logo, and emblem of the alien species were redrawn in Illustrator and digitized as embroidery files for application to the garments themselves.
Makeup application is Endura with NYX powders for contour and accents.
Accessories and armor are 3D modeled, printed, and finished by me based on the styling of armor sets within the game world.

Original design costume for Maedhros Fëanorian from J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Silmarillion
This costume took Fantasy Division 1st place, overall 4th place NYCC's Eastern Cosplay Championships 2015
I wanted to represent the character’s wealth and boldness in the costume through use of rich textiles and embellishment. This costume features seven hand-sewn garments, the only machine sewn features are carefully French-seamed so there is no “modern” style sewing visible. Materials used are silk, faux silk, and cotton based fabrics. Each piece is hand embroidered with celtic knotwork designs accented with beading and chainmaille links. All buttons and closures for these garments are designed and 3D printed to match.
The armor is tooled leather, hand-dyed and antiqued to give apparent age, with bronze 4-in-1 pattern chainmaille added to accent. The sword was molded and cast in a urethane resin, then hand-engraved with a passage of poetry translated into the character's canonical constructed language and then filled in with gold leafing before a clear sealant was applied for sheen.
The shoes for this costume were constructed of cow leather and deerskin in a moccasin style. Overall, this costume represents roughly 500 hours of handiwork from start to finish.
